About Us

Empathy. Community. These are concepts we value at YOUR eThekwini, a community media platform which services the greater Durban area.

Published by Africa Community Media, which has a deep-rooted legacy in community news, we are committed to ensuring that we always report on the news and tell people’s stories with empathy – because without empathy, it is impossible to build community. And that is our aim – to build community. YOUR eThekwini aims to create a space for us to get to know each other. A space for us to speak together. A space for us to build together. Your eThekwini is your voice.
