Umlazi Police are appealing to the community to help them find four missing residents.
Ayabonga Nombona, 34, from Umlazi’s A Section, was last seen on September 23, 2024, at his home. Mr Nombona is of average build and dark in complexion. He was last seen wearing navy pants, a navy T-shirt with “Coreseal” written on it, and black shoes.
Vikizitha Phakathi, 54, was last seen in Umlazi Township in 2021. He was last sighted by his sister at his residence, though details of his clothing at the time are unknown.
Siyabonga Mnyandu, 51, from H Section, has also been reported missing. He was last seen on October 10, 2024, at his home in Umlazi.
The latest report concerns Thamsanqa Mathabela, 59, of Mndeni Road in Umlazi Township. He was last seen on November 8, 2024, by his sister at his residence. Mr Mathabela is tall, dark of complexion, and wears a chiskop hairstyle. He was last wearing a brown coat, a brown and green T-shirt, and navy pants.
The police urge anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals to contact Sergeant Khomo at 031 325 6256 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
